As the company’s Co-Founder and Executive Director of Product, John leads the clinical and commercial development of Artrya’s ground-breaking non-invasive technology which will transform heart disease diagnostics.
John's vision for Artrya is to be the global standard in Coronary Heart Disease diagnosis which positively impacts humanity through advanced, leading-edge products, and saves lives.
Previously, John was the Global Industry Leader for Electronics at IBM where he advised CEO’s and Boards from some of the world’s largest corporations, on commercialisation, strategy, digital transformation and enabling growth in markets such as Asia, US and Europe.
He was a member of IBM’s Global Industry Academy, recognised as top Industry Executives in IBM. In this role John was primarily responsible for defining the global industry strategy for IBM’s industry segments.
As a progressive, forward thinker, John actively speaks at international conferences and has written whitepapers and blogs on recent trends.
John holds a Master of Engineering from University of Technology, Pretoria, an Executive Master of Business Administration from HEC International Business School Paris, and an IBM Certification in Executive Management Consulting.
